Wifes Birthday

It's that time of the year again.
 Her birthday.
I was trying to think of what to write about and the wife informed me she  had a birthday coming up. Being the thoughtful husband, that I am, I kept me mouth shut. I don't want  her to think I forgot about it.
 Just saying.
I'd had these big plans for the day. A day at the spa. An afternoon at the casinos. A moonlight stroll. Maybe take her to one of those fancy organic pizza parlors everyone talks about.
A new car, or washing the one she has. Another house or just finding a broom. Maybe coffee in bed or take her to McDs for the full breakfast experience. Lord knows, You have to be your best that day.
I'll have to come up with something. Dang, Now that she read this, I can't surprise her with the new house and car. Guess I better get going.
I know that broom is around here somewhere.

My problem has always been my wife's champagne taste and my beer budget!

If you decide to do the kitchen remember that you can stack the dirty dishes in the oven. That will make the sink look real nice.

Once upon a my wife's birthday my daughter and I bought her diamonds on ebay. There were a number of diamonds in one bag. They were very pretty. We didn't really know that much about karats or anything like that. It was a whole bag of diamonds for $10!!!
I guess they make some really small plastic bags as what we ended up was a dime sized bag of diamond dust. Just the same, my wife can say that her husband and daughter gave her a bag of diamonds for her birthday once. And that her husband is just plain odd, but that is another story...

Let her take a nap this afternoon. Got her a new night shirt, (That she wanted) and cooked dinner.
Chicken and biscuits. Right out of the box.

Your welcome, Honey.

Odie, Birthdays can be special. Other peoples at least. After a while I hate to even think of mine. I guess the alternative isn't too good either.
