Living The Dream

Kinda got behind here.So much to do. So much to read.
So I keep getting behind.

Copied that from an earlier post, so as to get me started. At least I will get in my July post.
Whole bunch of competition out there in Blogville.

We been doing research on different paths of care to see which on will be the most advantageous. Seems like the assisted living is the next big thing. Pity we won't be able to take that route. Looks like we are gonna need something with more 24 hr assist in everything  type of care. Makes me wish I was richer instead of better looking.

Got tired of the truck. Rolled it across the  scales. Cleaned up the rest of the garage at the same time.

Next up, Brakes on the rear of the Dodge. Sitting in the box for awhile (the brakes, not me) and now I have the room to do it inside.

Got the wife's 04 Mercury out of the shop. Bad fan switch. Can't be letting the better half suffer in this heat. I had power at the motor, so I replaced it. Still didn't work. Two things bad at the same time.  It said to pry off the trim and it looked like it was gonna break. I stopped. Saved the trim.

Looking at going back to school and learning a new career. Maybe something easier on the back.

I'll say once again, I'll try to post more often.

See ya later...
Bobby

I have a friend who worked at a body shop. Was attempting to figure out the electric window regulator on wife's vehicle. Spent half an hour trying to remove door panel without busting anything.
Took him five minutes...
Of course I don't have it fixed yet and that was three weeks ago-but I have the theory down.
WHo would have thunk air conditioning would become the rule rather than the exception?

Good luck on the job hunt. I had to settle, but I keep hoping for better.

Thank goodness for public transportation! I don't know anyone handy enough to fix car, very impressive. Thanks for stopping by my site, I will be back to yours. School, hummm, x-ray tech's are always in demand, don't know about the back. Best of luck. T

Budde, I've managed to pull a lot of trim off the Dodge. Not all was able to go back on the same way. My 1st AC car was a VW @ 74 or 75. We do chill as we age. Spoiled I am. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm looking into the VRAP program. Looking to get an HVAC license. I thought I was settled before. Kinda like getting a second chance. Glad you stopped by.

T, I got the brakes done and rotated the tires while I had it on the stands. Very busy day. No AC in the garage. Enjoyed your site also. Nice of you to visit.
