Happy Tuesday

Kinda got behind here.So much to do. So much to read.
So I keep getting behind.

In other news.
"We look like Mississippi," the North Carolina governor told WITN-TV.
Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant issued a statement in response to the derogatory remarks about his state made by Perdue: "I am certainly disappointed by Gov. Perdue's statement regarding North Carolina's 'looking like Mississippi.' Apparently, North Carolina's voters are much more in line with Mississippi's traditional values on marriage than those of Gov. Perdue."
 Now that was funny.
So now the people in NC want values like the people in MS.
Ms. has good values? We are like 49 and 50th on every thing that happens in the states. And yet the people of NC want to take our place, share our values. Louisiana might not be too happy.

I have friends who are very against same sex marriage. Can't understand why people think they have to judge and regulate other marriages. Will their own marriages will not last? Will religion (Big Box Churches) lose control over marriage? There's money to be made rousing the heathens to fight against Satan and the Forces of Evil.
I believe my marriage is solid. Other marriages don't affect mine. Some folks divorced 3 or 4 times and still think they are good Christians.
That their vows have no meaning is their judgement, not mine.

Good ole USA

If you fall in, don't grab the handle.

After gays can marry legally it's only a matter of time before cohabitators rightfully demand the same breaks as married folks and room-mates, also rightfully, do likewise.

If the cohabitants want the same breaks, they should get married.
One person caring about another. This world needs more caring.

I'm in favor of people loving each other, and believe that no one is better than anyone else in this world.

I guess what puzzles me is that marriage is a conservative value. Heterosexual couples are abandoning it in droves. Yet gays want to adopt this conservative value like they're missing out on whatever it is heterosexuals are shunning.

Melissa, I have to agree with you. Now if we could get the rest of the world to think this way. Thanks for stopping by.
Leigh, Same-sex couples do not get the advantage of Social Security's benefits that married couples with one primary wage earner does. Why heterosexuals are leaving marriage is puzzling. Have the politicians done something to encourage this? I don't know. Appreciate you stopping by.

I too agree with Melissa.
Too much hate in this world and not enough love.
Let them alone and stop judging others

Hey Maggie. Live and let live. Never happen. There's money to be made regulating others. Not yourself, but others. Halve of the American people seem to be haters and judges. The rest of us are lovers, defendants, and the working poor. Glad you could stop by.
