Israel and the 1967 State Lines

This is only an issue whenever someone needs one.
Notice the date.
Seems like everyone is leaving out the part about "Mutually Agreed Upon Land Swaps" starting with the 1967 lines as a base line.
You have to start somewhere, if you want to get anywhere.

Prime Minister of Israel and The Office of the Secretary of State of The United States

Joint Statement of the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel and The Office of the Secretary of State of The United States

Begin Text
‪‪Prime Minister Netanyahu and Secretary Clinton had a good discussion today, with a friendly and productive exchange of views on both sides. Secretary Clinton reiterated the United States' unshakable commitment to Israel's security and to peace in the region.
‪‪The Prime Minister and the Secretary agreed on the importance of continuing direct negotiations to achieve our goals. The Secretary reiterated that "the United States believes that through good-faith negotiations, the parties can mutually agree on an outcome which ends the conflict and reconciles the Palestinian goal of an independent and viable state, based on the 1967 lines, with agreed swaps, and the Israeli goal of a Jewish state with secure and recognized borders that reflect subsequent developments and meet Israeli security requirements." Those requirements will be fully taken into account in any future peace agreement.
‪‪‪The discussions between the Prime Minister and the Secretary focused on creating the conditions for the resumption of direct negotiations aimed at producing a two-state solution. Their teams will work closely together in the coming days toward that end.

Not the End of the World.

Are we still here?
So this is what heaven is like. Kinda feels much the same as before. Kinda glad that the world didn't up and quit on us. Maybe there were a few that made the trip. There were quite a few folks in the obituaries today. Of course I'll have to wait till Monday to see the ones that went with Saturdays Rapture.
Started to fill up the pool. It's holding water pretty good. In other words, No Leaks! Shut the water off about a foot low last night, so I wouldn't forget and let it run all night. I'm sure the grass would've loved that.
The grass is dying out. Maybe it got Raptured? Does it have a soul? Do trees have souls? Can you be reincarnated as a tree or a blade of grass? Ashes to ashes and all that stuff.
Haven't had to mow in a while. I don't mind that so much as the crackling of the blades under my feet. At least I live in a place that allows me to have a yard of my own and lets me decide when to take the life of the lawn.
The Mother in Law is still with us. Must not have been the right Rapture for her. We know she is perfect, just ask her. Maybe she will find the right Rapture in the future. Is there another one planned for 2013?
Well I probably wrote too much already. Probably upset some of the spiritual types who were planning on not being here today, and now having to get ready to go to church. But on the bright side, there will be plenty of there friends waiting for them.
Now I have to get my act together. Try to act like the responsible one.
Aw shucks. I'm gonna finish the pool.

Making Patriotism Fashionable Again 05/30 by Sandi Tuttle | Blog Talk Radio

Something that I want to pass on.

Making Patriotism Fashionable Again 05/30 by Sandi Tuttle | Blog Talk Radio
Disclaimer, she's my sister in law, so there's no telling what she will say.

Sorry for not being a daily writer, but things have been rough around here. Not as rough as the farmers have it, just rougher than the norm. Food prices are going to go through the roof.
Haven't had much rain in this neck of the woods, in a while. Grass is dying. Lawnmower is crying out, "Ride Me, Ride Me". Ants are crying "Don't move, I want to bite you".

Got a replacement liner for the old pool on order. Don't know when it will be in. It feels real good to take a dip after work. Kinda like a dip for a dip.

They opened up the levies for the river. Hate to see those poor people getting their homes flooded. I know how bad it is to clean up. We had around 8 and 1/2 feet in our house after Katrina. Nothing like running a Bobcat down the hallway, to rip out the carpet. But we did get new Sheetrock and paint. Now the outside needs to be washed again. You would think vinyl could stay clean for at least 5 years.

Got the windows open. Put a garage door screen over the back french doors. Got them open also. Nice to have a breeze and not have the power meter spinning. I'll be glad when fuel prices goes back down.  Cheaper gas, cheaper food. We will be able to spend our money on items that will help the economy.

Well since I have nothing to write about, I'll close for now.

Be safe and take care of one another.
